A gorgeous sandwich made really easy

Just thought I would share these brilliant sandwiches, breath deep, yes they smelled and tasted lovely…

Hmmm sandwich.
Here is a simple tuna, cucumber and red onion all squashed with mayonnaise. Getting even my mouth big enough was a huge problem.

Hmmm sandwich 1
My mouth is dripping at the thought of this one, pink salmon, cucumber and red onion with a good amount of mayonnaise. So much was left in the mixer that I just had to eat that first. Yes I removed plenty of that butter!

Hmmm sandwich 2
I don’t seem to know of any folks who would have some of the following mix but the cheese spread, red onion and even cucumber worked a treat!!!

Its a mystery or not

One thing is for sure, this last week I have never felt so tired, shattered, or exhausted? which ever word fits best, but I will know more on the 22nd January as an appointment has been brought forward. Had some bloods taken last Monday which is the first of the weekly checks?

Appointment moved.

It really isn’t a big mystery, rarest of sarcoid, a few drugs, getting used to organ transplant drugs and other stuff, and so my body is constantly fighting, and will arrive through in a better manner, erm, my manner is fine ha.

Its all a big mistery.

Its like, a cloud just above the field that can be touched, reach out and we can see what most others don’t…

Eat yourself, say’s Bob

I reckon if folks could eat themselves, then most of us would?! Robert Plant, a terrific moment captured by Lori Spencer. It really is not just the covering of that letter but the whole body posture!!!

The Cockpit 22nd November 2013

What a show, all acts were good, yet we were certainly blown away with just how much ‘The Rook’ have come on in just a year, an absolutely brilliant show being the main support act to the Vendettas EP launch, with some very flash playing! These guys have what it takes, all own original songs, very well wrote, average age is just 19, get yourselves to see them at the earliest possible chance!

Too much worry

Got myself spinning too much yesterday, kind of dreading going back where I were middle of 2010, at least we know what I have, its just trying to work out what to do???

The sarcoid is raging like that there river.

The doctor phoned to say the X-ray confirmed the sarcoid is active, I knew that but Airedale hospital have just started to help so I will help them as much as possible as they weren’t 100% sure what to be looking for. This past few week my site has almost turned into a sarcoid complaints area, well it is but I try getting on.

Raging coid

Yesterday I decided to check something out, bit of a tangent but; A few years ago someone once promised? that they would be in touch again once the youngest was 18, that would have been this year of 2013. I did send valentines and 50th birthday cards, just as a little nudge? Well I decided on the wonders of 192.com and Zoopla, sure enough she has moved on in this year as stated she would? she should have got the cards before selling up in April.

Maybe its just me, but I must have taken everything the wrong way, including the bangle that was left perfectly situated at my old home back in January 2006. I would love to have seen her again, or perhaps it was best not to, I mean, state of me now eh. I wish her all the best of luck on this planet we call home.

How to make a healthy sandwich made really cheap and easy

We know the score? Can not be bothered making a cheap yet decent healthy sandwich early Monday morning, its been a long lazy weekend, too many takeaways and booze – yet? ah ha, but some of us do – now and again, make a healthy sarny?! But when we don’t, we end up with a Marks & Spencer, or Boots, or Subway, or another ‘outlet’ expensive sandwich, but boy do they cost too much? So here we have a really cheap way of putting together a healthy yet cheap sandwich. Ingredients purchased can cover these sandwiches for about three days, for me the lettice type leafs can be soggy, really soggy, oh… Proper ingredients; turkey slices, red onion, crunchy mixed salad and cucumber, mixed bread caked with tons of butter.

Sandwich 1
Ok and here we missed me chopping up the ingredients, and as can be seen, placed on the turkey slices are the red onions, perfectly cut too thick – brilliant for that hangover, mixed crunchy salad, cucumber and a good squirt of, erm, its so hard to spell, not going to spell check and so, erm, mayonarse.

Sandwich 2
As can be seen the sandwich box appears too small, but believe me its a good size, I think the healthy sandwiches are filled too much, it can be done, four really can fit into one, that there plastic box.

Sandwich 3
Just look at that, perfect, took a little sitting on, you know, like when we have clothes that need to fit in the suitecase? that sounds like sweetcase? yes I mean suitcase now get off my back…!

Sandwich 4
It has not been mentioned but, I was asked how I perform this marvel, really! Sunday night, put them in the fridge, with the freezer thingy’s in the freezer, and next moaning (it’s Monday don’t forget!?) put the sandwich box on top of the frozen blue thing, make sure the sandwiches are still in the box, as when intoxicated they get eaten during the night – unsure by who?

Sandwich 5
Just look at how proper fresh they still are at 13:30 hrs, oh, its on the train home. For you guys the hangover will be so strong you will make an excuse to leave work early (not me silly, erm), yet those super healthy refreshing sandwiches do the trick – but the ticket lady caught me with my mouth full, I almost sprayed her with some crunched salad and mayonarse, yet thankfully it weren’t a cream pie…

Discrimination or not, that is the question

Here is some truth through my passion of freedom of speech; freedom of speech, empty promises, over qualified, might get bored, and earmarked vacancies, but could it be discrimination? Jeez, this past year I feel that I have experienced them all, especially at work. Very grateful to Leeds Remploy for getting me into work at Enterprise, and very grateful to them too. But then, some facts.

I was promised so much upon achieving that position, and so, that story begins… One thing is for sure, my sarcoidosis is certainly playing up due to some recent events, including the redundancy situation and my want of trying to progress. Read on…

Redundancy

This was at the beginning of August, though told not to worry its human nature to worry.

Dot ankles

First thing that happened was my Ankle dots, this is a first sign that the sarcoid is becoming more active.

Bloodshot eye
This is certainly an activity that sarcoids know only too well, it can quite easily develop into Bilateral Uveitis. On Friday 27th Sept both of my eyes started.

Simply put I just could not understand why I failed at three interviews I should have walked into, other positions came up without being advertised that I was more than capable and qualified to do. This week I recieved a letter saying that my new position is gas restoration administrator, that is a high stress job, the most stressful in in the office that no one likes doing, especially on £6:60/hour, although I have the current tax credits but only till March 2014. If any working position a one in ten sarcoid needs to avoid its a stressful one. No wonder my body has gone and started reacting again, jeez.

When I was at the initial interview I was told plenty of opportunities would be available for me to progress. At home I got a few phone calls from the manager who mentioned ‘off the record’ I would be able to progress pretty quickly with the qualifications and experience I have; qualified plumber, trained in the 5Cs by the SMMT, HNC Technology and Management through Leeds Metropolitan University, and been a manufacturing manager. I had two other jobs on offer through Leeds Remploy, also someone else from my current place of employment at Pottery Fields House in Leeds phoned to offer a position, but I had given my word to the manager of my future team.

Lets cut quite abit out, I asked abit about progression, I was asked by another manager to take my 5C improvements documents and information with me, so I did, and after two weeks of no one showing interest I took them home, that was my first thought that I had made some kind of mistake, but glad to be working, proving to some degree that one in ten sarcoids can work, but I felt my chances of progression were much less than first mentioned.

Lets cut quite abit more out, in June I got a chest infection and ended up on anti-pneumonia tablets, chest infections can unsually kill sarcoids, especially the mentioned one in tens, that I have officially been told I am, proper scary times that. Before being that ill I did not tell work how unwell I felt until later, my lesson learnt to be upfront fully about sarcoidosis. I had a staged return in July with yet some further promises of progression, by the end of July the medics said that they believed I had gone into remision – fantastic!

At that point I thought I may as well start applying for other positions, and at the seem time my team got the redundancy notice, shit, bad timing for me as I need the sarcoid to stay none active. Three interviews later and those other jobs not advertised yet taken, phew, the reasons are absolutely garbage why I am not getting the jobs, the funniest of ‘your 5Cs knowledge and answer were not good enough’ eh! I’m trained by the SMMT – look them up! I even have my plumbing with the gas and pressure systems units. Before the interviews for one of the positions, I was told who would be getting it, then, I overheard two folks chatting about that job, but they must still get the C.V. in, yes that person got the job. I have started to be at a loss why I have not been getting jobs that I am certainly much more capable of than others! 27th September it finally hit me, from my previous experience we know a company is not supposed to discriminate but yes they do, it is not a nice feeling.

In May Enterprise were taken over by Amey, at Pottery Fields House Amey work for Northern Gas Networks, I so thought my experience and knowledge of the 5Cs and construction should have stood me in a great manner of progression, and now the current position that I feel cornered into is causing the sarcoid to raise its ugley head again. Yes my freedom of speech, nothing and no one harmed here apart from my own facts and me. All I wanted was a chance to progress and help the company succeed. Other stuff happened, I am also very glad of being given the chance to work, but we are laerning just what causes the sarcoid to become lively. Now I will stop right here.

Stu.

Are those ears really burning?

You know the old saying that when your ears are hot then someone is talking about you, well my ears burn quite often, and still haven’t a clue who she is!!!
